About

Practical vision software for real operations.

OperaLens exists because cameras in stores, warehouses, and factories watch everything and change nothing. We build the layer that turns what they see into operational action — deployable, private, and honest about what it can do.

Where this comes from

Built on software that already runs in production.

OperaLens is built on multi-camera counting software that has run in production — continuously tracking entries, exits, occupancy, and zone activity across live retail sites. That operational history shaped the engineering: automatic stream recovery, debounced counting that survives jittery detections, health monitoring, and counters that resume correctly after a restart.

The counting core is developed as an open-source library under the MIT license. We believe operators should be able to inspect the software that watches their floor — and that adoption support, configuration, and custom deployment are where we earn our keep.

How we work

Four rules we don't bend.

Founder-led, deliberately

You talk to the people who build the product. Pilots get engineering attention, not an account manager.

Truth over polish

Capabilities that need configuration are labeled that way. Sample data is labeled as sample data; pilot data is labeled as pilot data.

Privacy as architecture

Counts, not identities — because operational intelligence doesn't need to know who.

Implementation over hype

We prove a measurable outcome on one camera before we talk about the whole site.

The idea in three lines

See what is happening. Understand what matters. Act in real time.

Building or modernizing a physical operation?

One camera, one problem, one measurable outcome — that's how every engagement starts.
